Shane Atwell
Shane has been with Inside Outdoors TV since its inception. He prides himself on being the best cameraman and hunter that he can be. Shane truly feels that he is just as responsible for the harvest of the game as the man behind the weapon. Shane is the jokester of the bunch. He believes that having a good time is the most important part of the hunt. That being said, Shane is an avid hunter and has been chasing game for over 30 yrs. He got his start at the age of three when his late grandfather and mentor,
Shane is a Fire Captain, a husband to his beautiful wife Shawna, and a father to his two wonderful children, Kennedy and Wiley. Shane hopes to pass on his love for the outdoors to his two children just the way his grandfather did to him. Shane is somewhat of a fitness fanatic and spends many of his days in the gym and has completed the grueling 26.2 miles of a marathon. But nothing pumps him up like climbing into a ground blind or a tree stand well before the sun rises to try and harvest another Big Buck.
Justin Jackson
Justin Jackson may have been born in Tulsa, OK, but it was the Kiamichi Mountains in southeastern Oklahoma where he was taught to fear God and his love for the great outdoors began. Sitting between his Grandfather’s knees at the young age of four years old, he dropped the hammer on a single shot 410 H&R on his first game animal! “It was that red, fox squirrel that lit the fire that has burned into an ‘obsession’!” says Jackson.Justin is a life member of the NWTF, RMEF, P&Y Club and NRA in a show of support to the organizations that endorse and fight for the freedoms and rights he loves so much! Justin is a business man as well. He has successfully run several companies, including DJ Fundraisers, based in Clayton, OK since taking over the family owned company years ago. Justin is a true ‘Okie’ and has enjoyed the ranch lifestyle most of his life. When not doing his ranch chores or coordinating his next business transaction, Justin is either thinking, talking about or actually out hunting. Having experienced many big game challenges from whitetails and turkey all over the country - to even stalking within bow range and taking a 2,000 lb. Alaskan Brown Bear with his bow, Justin decided he wanted to take hunting to the next level….filming it!
Justin introduced himself to Dave Poteat, in the winter of 2008 and the two hit it off. The timing just wasn’t right for Inside Outdoors TV to bring on any new members or staff at that time. However, Justin was persistent in his drive to be involved with the industry and through an unusual chain of events involving a New Mexico Elk hunt, the two connected again in July of 2009. The timing was right this go round and with his experience, passion, and drive, Justin was offered a position on the Inside Outdoors TV Pro Staff and Field Producers’ team in late 2009.
Matt Walker
For Matt, hunting is not a passion - it is an obsession. Well, maybe early on it was a passion, because his father, David, shared his love of hunting with him. His dad taught Matt what things to look for and to be patient. From then on, the passion grew into an obsession.In 1993, Matt met Shane Atwell. That was it! They were inseparable in the deer woods, often hunting out of the same tree. It was only natural to put a camera in between them. Through all the years they hunted together, they never once actually filmed anything being taken. But the twisted addiction had begun.
Matt has been involved with Inside Outdoors TV since the very beginning. He has been more limited with his time on the show, but wouldn’t trade it for anything. Matt has been married to his beautiful wife, Deb, for 10 years. In 2003, thy were blessed with the birth of their daughter, Gracie, and again in 2006, with the birth of their other daughter, Maddie. He would love nothing more than to pass on his love for hunting and the outdoors to his gorgeous little girls.
